Music suggestions

I've been listening to the same workout mix for the past 2.5 months... and it's getting old. I need some upbeat tunes that can motivate, inspire, or just make me want to move! I'm up for anything, except techno/trance. That stuff just starts to irritate me after a while when I'm running.

So... any suggestions? Leave me a comment and tell me what music you use - or what music you think would be fun to run to! I can use all the help I can get! Thanks!

Your needy, musical runner,
Kelly

Hey Kell!

I've found a GREAT Cardio CD, and I'm loving it. It's called "Cardio Pulse: Pumped Up Work Out". Now, it's not your normal work out music. It's all of Abba's hits from "Mamma Mia!". They're GREAT songs to listen to and honestly, it gets me moving! I bought it at Hallmark, since I work at one, but if you have an email I can email you a song to see if you like it, or even the entire CD. :)

Good luck!!

personally, I'm a fan of epic rock and metal to drive me past those walls. Generic 'get me moving' music is way more eclectic. "Knights of Cydonia" by Muse is good, "Kids" by MGMT is bouncy but easy going, "You're gonna go far, kid" and "hammerhead" by Offspring, ooh "Propane Nightmares" by Pendulum is awesome, "non dairy creamer" by third eye blind ain't too bad, "get on your boots" by U2 might be perfect as well, "that's not my name" by the Ting Tings, "I don't care" by Fallout Boy, "Don't stop" by Inner Party System, "D.A.N.C.E." by Justice, "Calabria 2007" by Enur, "Paper Planes" by MIA, "Troublemaker" and "Pork and Beans" by Weezer, "A-punk" by Vampire Weekend, "Salute Your Solution" by the raconteurs, "I love my sex" by Benny Benassi, or a bunch of stuff by the Red Hot Chili Peppers, "voodoo child" by Rogue Traders, "Paralyzer" by Finger Eleven, "Love Today" by Mika. I also like crazy covers of songs: "Tom Sawyer" by Mindless Self Indulgence, "99 red balloons" by Goldfinger, "Every little thing she does is magic" by Ra, "Paint it black" by Gob, "Hey Ya" by Supersuckers, "Mahna Mahna" by Cake. Wow, I could go on and on. I should make you a mix tape.
